FALL OF EARTH.
THREE MEN BURIED.*
(Per Press Association.) DUNEDIN, last night. By a fall of earth at 'Shici’s .quarry; St. Clair, three men were buried. One was extricated, being seriously hurt. Two are still beneath the earth. Later.—The accident at Shiel’s quarry turns out to be a minor affair., Seven men were employed in ja race, and were warned of the impending danger. All but John Lonner, temporarily employed as carter, accepted the warning* and got clear. He was struck on, tbe leg and side of tile head, and received a compound fracture and injuries o his head,
