(Per Press Association.) Wellington, last night. Tho following aro the results of tho Otaki races : Trial Handicap— Romany 1, White Ribbon 2, Fairwator 3. Won easily, Div £2 14s and £2. Otaki Handicap.— Black Squall 1, Apprentice 2, Valima 3. These wore tho only starters. Won easily. Div. *1 7s. Hurdles.— Aroha 1, Killarney 2,Hutana 3. Div £2 14s and 17s. _ . Ngatihuia Handicap. Hydrant 1, Gucsser 2, Position 3. Div., £2 ss. * Railway Handicap— Australasia 1, Apprentice 2. Those wero the only starters. Won easily. Div. £1 4s. Welter.— Hydrant 1, Elibank 2, Imwa 3. A splendid finish. Div £1 14s. Electric Handicap.— Gold Dredge 1, Notos 2, Firelight 3. Won comfortably. Div. £2 4s and ,£4 Is. There was a very good attendance and first-class racing. The weather was misty and damp. The totalisator receipts were £7074 for the meeting, and £248 more than last year.
