At tho tallow sales 1341 barrels were offered and 447 sold. Mutton, fine is at 295, modiuui 27s 6d; beef, fine 29s 6d, medium 275.

Tho Colonial Consignment and Distributing Company cable: Canterbury and North Island mutton, both qualities, lamb, and hindquarters of beof, have fallen onoeighth of a penny. Quotations are: Canterbury mutton 4 l-Bd, Napier, Wellington, and North Island 3 7-8 d ; lamb, first quality 4 7-Sd, second 4 5 8d ; beof, hinds 3 7-Sd, fores 2jd.
