LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL’. Per Press Association. .WELLINGTON, last night. The Council met at 2.30. STATE FIRE INSURANCE BILL PASSED. The State Fire Insurance Bill passed the final stages on the voices.
HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES. (The House met at 2.30. BILLS PASSED H OUSE. The Testators’ Family Maintenance Amendment Bill, Police Offences Amendment Bill, and General Assembly Library Bill were read a third time and passed. The House met at 7.30. The Municipal Corporation Act Amendment Bill passed the final stages. Tho Sea Fisheries Act Amendment Bill and Water Power Bill passed through committee.
