Per Press Association. Christchurch, last night. It was reported at a meeting of the Council of New Zealand Wheelman tonight that a suggestion had been made from Australia that J. Amst, winner of tho Warrambool-Melbourne road race, should be sent by Australasian subscription to compete in noxt year’s Paris-Bordeaux race, the leading road event in tfao Old World. It was decided to write tp the Union Valoci Pedique de France, stating that if the Bordeaux-Paris race was run unpaced New Zealand might be, represented.
