JOCKEY CLUB STAKES.
At the Newmarket meeting last week the following waß the result of the principal event: —
The Jockey Club Stakes of 10,000 sovs; the owner of the second horse to receive 1500 sovs, the owner of the third horse 1000 sovs, the nominator of the winner 400 sovs, and the nominator of the second horse 200 sovs out of the stakes. For three and four year olds. Special weights, with penalties and allowances. Last mile and three-quarters of the Cesarewitch course.
