7Per Press Association. C' New Plymouth, last night,

In the Supreme Court A. R. Brandon, for perjury in of charge of alleged murder, was sentenced to seven years. The Judge made on order for money found on Allen, on Friday sentenced to eighteen months for robbery of the Kahotu post office, to be handed to the PostmasterGeneral. In divorce, Douglas v, Douglas, wife’s petition, a decree nisi on the ground of habitual intemperance and failure to contribute to his wife’s support was granted. In Brodio v. Brodie, formerly living at Napier, a decree was granted on the husband’s petition on the ground of desertion. In Mordsley v. Mordsley, wife’s petition, a decree was granted on the ground of desertion. The parties formorly lived in Ashburton. In tho oaso of Dew v. Dew, husband’s petition, for restitution of conjugal rights, an order wrs made. * Civil business will be taken on Monday.
