TIMARU TEACHERS
By Telegraph—Presß Association,
Timaru, last night. At a well-attended meeting of teachers, tho President of the Teachers’ Institute, local branch, made a presentation to Major Bamfield, late secretary for many years, and now assistant-secretary of the Education Board. The teachers were drawn together by a second object, the exhibition of brushwork and modelling in plasticine, etc., the results of the teachers’ Saturday classes and school work. An excellent collection was made.
