SERIOUS ACCIDENT.

The wife of the caretaker of the Fire Brigade station, now being enlarged, stepped on a portion of the new building from the living rooms, and fell through the joists, a distance of 16 feet, sustaining serious injuries, necessitating her removal to the hospital. The oxact nature of the injuries will not be ascertained for a day or two.
