THE MOURA.
LAST BOAT AT SIX THIS MORNING
The steamer Moura, which left Napier at a quarter-past twelve yesterday, and should have reached Gisborno soon after 6 in the evening, did no* put in an appearance during the night. The weather was thick, calm in the bay, but with a light rain falling that obscured the vision for any great distance. It is supposed that beiDg unable to reach port before dark, the captain was then unable to pick up the lights, and deemed it prudent to stand out to sea until daybreak. The atmosphere cleared shortly after midnight, but probably would still bo thick further out at sea. Tho local agent for the Union Company, Mr Cramond, altered the time of tho outward launch to suit the convenience of passengers, but at eleven last night there being still no sign of the boat, it .was thought useless to wait longer, and the time of departure was fixed for six o’clock this morning. The following passengers have booked for Auckland ; Misses Sadler and Birch ; Mesdames Carr and Shepherd; Messrs Pyrke, Fisher, Shepherd, and Mason. The following is the telegraphed list of passengers on their way to Gisborno by the Moura : Mr 3 Bennett; Misses Macfarlane (2), Watt, and Warren ; Messrs Allison, Hidge, Tylee, Morgan, Charters, Bennott, Gillis, and Macfarlane.
