A largely-attended special sitting of the full Court afforded the legal profession and prominent citizens an opportunity of farewelling Sir Samuel Griffith, who, in replying to the congratulations, said he was going to fill the greatest office in the British Dominion outside of Britain. It wa3 an honor any man might well be proud of.
