Barton has placed the resignation of tho Cabinet in Lord Tennyson’s hands, and Mr Deakin was sent for to reconstruct the Ministry. Mr Deakin will be Prime Minister and Minister of External Affairs; Mr Drake, AttorneyGeneral ; Mr Chapman, Minister of Defence ; Mr Playford, Honorary Minister. The other portfolio - are unchanged.
