Fanfare 1, Bariudi 2, Devilment 8. Betting :4to 1 Patronus, 6 to 1 Fanfare. Won by six lengths. Timo, 3.10|. ltaudwick Plato. Lord Cardigan 1 Wakeful 3 Postillion 8 Also ran—Sir Loonard and Victory. Betting : 5 to 4 against Wakeful, 3 to 1 Lord Cardigun. Wakeful led until well in the straight, whore Lord Cardigan joined issuo, and the latter drawing out, won by six lengths. Timo, 4.17*. Final Hundieap.—Scot’s Guard 1, Palmist 2, Long Tom 8. Botting : 20 to 1 Scot’s Guard. Won easily. Time, 2,18*.

Per Press Association. * Auckland, last night, The Avondale Jockey Club’s spring meeting commenced yesterday afternoon, The weather was fine, but dull and tbroaloning, and the attendance good. Duriog the afternoon tho sum of £5712 was passed through the totalisators. The following were tho results : Maiden Plate: Lavadol (Satman) 1, Aka Aka 2, Leo DoLavol 3. Scratched : Coma, and Hillfiower. Won by a longth. Timo, 1.20 3-stbs. Divs., £7 12 and £8 Is. First Handicap Hurdles : Haydn, (Fer gus) 1, Tim 2, Straybird 3. Scratched: Hylas. Won easily by sevon lengths. Time. 3.59 3.sths Divs., LI 14s and JR 9s.
Avondale Stakos; Muthuma (Deeley) 1, Boau Seaton 2, Kilmarnock 3. Scratched : Gladstone, Rose Seaton, Tapuwai, Givonaid, and Sappor. Won by a length and a half. Timo, 53 2-sths. Divs., £8 4s and £1 6s. Avondale Cup : Idas (Satman) 1, Dolores 2, Putty 3. All started. Won by a good longth. Time, 2.15. Divs., £5 7s and £5 lls 6d,
