THE KAISER. Berlin, Sept. 15. Tho Kaisor is stag hunting at Hungary. The Italian authorities have warned the Hungarian Government that three Italian Anarchists have gono to Hungary. QUEENSLAND POLITICS. Received, 11.31 p.m., Sept. 15 Brisbano, Sept, 15. Tho Governor sont for Mr Morgan today, and asked him to form a Ministry. Ho consented and is to bo given till Thursday, when tho Assembly meet. Mr Brown stated that ho waited upon tho Govornor to-day, and intimated that he could not in tho presont state of parties form a Ministry with any prospect of carrying on business. Ho advised the Governor to send for Mr Morgan, and added that tho Labor Party and Independent Opposition supported bis action. The Houso adjourned till Thursday. Immediately after the adjournment Mr Morgan resigned the Speakership preparatory to forming a Ministry. • CHARGES AGAINST DR SMITH Adelaide, Sept. 15.
At the Dr Ramsay Smith’s inquiry, Sir Uosiali Symon, in u slushing address for tho defence, declared that the charges aguinst Smith were tho outcomo of malice and spito. The real charge wub that one or two persons wanted to get rid of him by hook or by crook. After paying a tribute to Dr Smith’s eminence and efficiency a 3 a medical man and the esteem ho was held by tho Government, ho said that it was nndor tho direction of tho At-torney-General that ho removed the saulls and hoads, took human specimens, and fired rifles into tho dead bodies in ordor to
givo evidence as Government modical export. In other similar ways he had qualified himself for the unwarranted duties tho Government imposed upon him. What Dr Smith' had done had been I done with absolute openness in tho interests of the Government, his employers, and under the interests of science.
