PUBLIC HEALTH ACT. Pe.c Press Association. Auckland, last night. At the moetiug of fcho Hospital and Charitable Aid Board to day the following resolution was unanimously adopted : “ Be Public Health Act Amendment Act Tho Secretary be instructed to advise all Hospital Boards throughout the colony of this Board’s opinion and action, and to request such Boards *o take similar steps.” The action taken by the Board has reference to sections 12 and 13 of the Act, .which the Board was of opinion gave too much power to the Health Department. A THEOSOPHICAL WORKER.

Miss Sisban Edgar, who has been working in India with Miss Annie Besant for the Theosophical Society, arrived yesterday. She intends lecturing through Now Zealand and Australia.
