BALL AT TOLAGO.
The Football Club gave their annua l Jbali in the Tolago woolshed last Thursday' It was a great success and everything went tig splendidly. The music was supplied by the Rangi Family, assisted by Aliases Spence and Nelson. Too much praise cannot be given the musicians, as thoy all played exceedingly well. The Rangis, who form a string band, have only been practising a short time, but the musio irendeted by them was equal to any of the string bands in other towns The hall was beautifully decorated with palms, ferns, ■etc., and the floor was in perfect order. Supper, which was in the hands of a capable committee, was all that could be desired, and, needless to say, full justice-was dono to all the good things provided. Mr Thomson officiated as M.U., and performed his duties in a most satisfactory manner. There was a largo attendance, amongst the ladies present being .-—Mrs M. Fitzgerald, in black ; Mrs Aguew, white blouse, black skirt ; Mrs E. Roland, pale blue bodice and black skirt: Mrs G. Fitzgerald, grey bodice, black skirt; Mrs Hawkins, blaok ; Mrs Harcourt. black ; Mrs iFarrell, paie green bodice, black skirt ; JMrs Holder, white blouse, black skirt ; •Mrs Tnllock- red dress ; Miss Dobson, cwhite -da-ess, blue flowers ; Miss P. Dobson, white I Miss Neison, white blouse, .black skirt; Miss Amy Spence,. who .looked charming, cream and red ; Miss R. ■Spence, red blouse, black skirt ; Miss Robertson, black drew, red flowers ; Miss N. Williams, white blouse, grey skirt ; ‘ Miss S. Walker, white .blouse, black skirt; Miss Ivy Hawkins, blue dress; Miss hi. Acnew, black; Miss A. Agoe.w, white ilfouse, black skirt; Miss G.
