The Leicester Trades Congress instructed the Parliamentary Committee to draft a Bill securing Union funds against action for damages. They protested against the Government’s selection of members of a lvoyal Commission to enquire into tho legal positions of trade unions as an insult justifying the refusal of workmen to give evidence.
