Lopedell’s white and brindle dog Battleaxe, by Maximum May Queou, boat Messrs Baker and Annand’s brittle bitch Rosette ll.', by Confidence — Gold Rose, and won the stake. Wellington Plate. First round : Helensbrook beat Bloodshot, Whirlwind beat Little Billee, Palorus Jack beat Te Anau, Position beat Llangollau, Irish Jig beat Vickers, Dusky Maid beat Lockfoot, Licorice Water boat Master Bosebery, Navy Blue boat Epsom Lass. Second round : Helensbrook beat Whirlwind, Palorus Jack beat Position, Dusky Maid bent Irish Jig, Navy Blue beat Lioot'iee Water. Third round : Helensbrook beat Pelorus Jack, Dusky Maid beat Navy Blue. Final: G.
