SUCCESSFUL DAIRY COMPANY.
LOSING CONCERN CONVERTED INTO PROFIT. Pci Press Association. TIMARU, last night. The second annual meeting of the South Canterbury Dairy Company was held in Timaru yesterday. The balanceshoet for the past 11 months showed a profit of £305 7s 7d, against loss last year .of £456. The compaby sold 20,000 gallons of milk and made 112 tons of butter, 47 4ons of which were exported. The caririage of milk cost £720 Of the original assse of 10.000 shares 2623 remain unallotted. For the eight new creameries ssvhich are now in course of construction fihere has been ordered a now 8-ton Hercules refrigerator churn and cream vat, at the estimated cost of £IOOO.
