RACING IN AUSTRALIA. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Received 1.6 a.m., Aug. 31. Sydney, Aug. 30. Hewitt, the New Zealand jockey, had a couple of mounts at Tattersall’s races yesterday. He rodo two seconds. The Duke of Grafton’s easy win in the Rawson Stakes made him mueh-fanoied for the A.J.O. Derby. Amongst the number of candidates for big events ho defeated was Famous, the favorite for the Epsom Handicap, who started a hot favorite, and ran unplaced.
