Per Press Associationj WELLINGTON, last night. t The Council met at 2.30. _ i The Dairy Industry Extension Bill and , Wireless Telegraph Bill passed through j Committee. 1 HOUSE 0 U SUPPLY BILL. i The House met at 2.30. n ' An Imprest Supply Bill for £517,000 was brought down, and provoked a debate , lasting the whole afternoon. Hr Jas. Allen complained that all of too appropriations under the Public Works Fund last year had not been expended, and ho hold that injustice thereby had Jbeen done to back block settlers. Sir J. G. Ward said that Government were doing their best to meet the growing requirements of the colony. The House resumed at 7.30. The debate on the second reading of the Imprest Supply Bill was continued by Mr Wilford, who moved as ao amendment a Th a t Government undertake in the mAerosts of the colony and the tourist trafbo bureaux of information in the United States, United Kingdom, and Canada. A long debate took place, a large number of the members discoursing on the resources and various beauty sports of the said the development of the tourist traffic was largely a question of jnoans, and the Govornmont was moving an the right direction .Shortly after the supper adjournment Sir Wilford’s amendment was negatived «sn the voices. On a motion that the Bill ;be read a second time, Mr Massey deprecated the waste of time that had occurred. This was his tenth session, and he had never bofore witnessed so disgraceful a .scene. The dobate was proceeding when rtha telegraph office closed. The Legislative Council has adjourned dill 10 a.m. to morrow for the purpose of jpassiDg the Imprest Supply Bill.
