DEFYING. PUBLIC OPINION. . Peg Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, last night. Last Good Friday, the Christchurch Cycling Club held a sports meeting in accordance with itshisual curtom, and its action aroused a lot of public feeling, which culminated in a protest .meeting in the Cathedral. at which Bishop Julius was the principal speaker. The ‘matter was brought up at the annual meeting of the Cycling Club to-niglm, 'and the Club decided to adhere to its customary practice.
