GISBORNE ORCHESTRAL SOCIETY.

CONCERT ON TUESDAY NEXT.

The musical public of Gisborne will be delighted to hear that the Gisborne Orchestral Society will hold their next concert in the Academy of Music on Tuesday next, when they should be greeted with a crowded house. In addition to a bright and attractive programme of music by the orchestra, one of the features of which will be Mosskowski’s Dances, there will be a number of other attractions. Amongst these may be mentioned a piano quartette to be performed by Misses Davies (2), Lewis, and Larsen, four pupils of Mr E. N. Sidebottom, who, being very capable performers, are sure to give a brilliant rendering of ‘•'William Tell.” Several vocalists have promised assistance. A charming item on the programme will be Mrs A. F. Kennedy’s rendering of Sullivan’s “Let Mo Dream Again,” with full orchestral accompaniment. Tickets for the concert are now on issue, and may be obtained at Messrs Chrisp and Son’s, where the box plan is now open.
