Waipiro, last night. Mr I£. S. Williams, the sole selector for tho Waiapu Rugby Union, has chosen the following team to represent the East Coast in their match on Saturday nest at Victoria Domain : Pull-back, T. Potao; three-quarters, M. Murphy, Pokihau ; five-eighths, G. Reynolds; half, T. Hicks ; wings, R. Murphy and E. R. Murphy; forwards, Haimes, H. Fairlie, Aorere, Beetham, F. Manuel, R. Murphy, J. Taylor ; emergencies, backs—W. Duff and Watkins, forwards—E. R. Ludbrook, D. Duff, and Brooking. i The team is said to bo a first-class comI bination, and from tho past performances of playors it is expected that the game will be the finest seen in Poverty Bay for some time. The Coast men are very confident of success.
