HYLAND’S CIRCUS.

MATINEE THIS AFTERNOON.

This afternoon, next the Royal Hotel, Hyland’s circus will open for a short season. A matinee will be given at three, and an evening performance at eight. The company have during the retreat at' the Hole-in-the-Wall added considerably to their repertoire, and a feature of today’s show will be the introduction of some 20 trick ponies, new to the ring. In addition to many clever feats of horsemanship, aerial and acrobatic work will be performed by lady members of the company. The circus is by far the best that ha 3 shown in Gisborne, and should be greeted with crowded houses. 1
