A BATTLESHIP.

The projected new 18,000 ton battleship will be of the improved Edward VII. class, and will have an armour belt, consisting of ten inches of Krupp steel, tapering to six inches, which will protect the whole broadside. Tho armaments will include four submerged torpedo tubes, four 50-ton wire guns, eight quick firing 27-ton guns, and twelve 6 inch guns. The stipulated speed is 19 knots. t . r=r
