A LEAKY SHIP.
Per Press Association. Auckland, last night,
The Norwegian ship America, from Newcastle to Panama, coal laden, into Auckland to-day in a leaky condition. The ship sailed on August sth, and experienced heavy south east gales and sea, during which she began to leak, making from eight to ten inches per hour. The captain has communicated with his owners by cable.
