CANTERBURY HALL.

Per Press Association^ Christchurch, last night. The report read at the annual meeting of shareholders in the Canterbury Hall today stated that the revenue had increased from £686 13s to £931 18s, and the charges accounts had been £239 11s, against £267 14s All the letting spaces were ocoupied. There was a loss on the , year’s working of £IOO6 19s chiefly accounted for by interest, £756 5s lOd. There was every prospect of a prosperous vear. The Hon, H. F. Wigram said that there was a possibility of the purchase of the hall by Christchurch. The question would need to be submitted to the ratepayers, and could be decided in conjunction with the water supply scheme at one poll. ___________
