AUCKLAND, last night.

As a. result of the survey of the .Tyser steamer Niwaru, 40 or more plates on both sides of the steamer have been found to he damaged, .hut only about ten will have to he replaced. An examination of the interior of the vessel will be made tomorrow. It is understood that only temporary repairs will he effected here, and that the work .will he completed in London.
