AN INTERESTING STATEMENT,
Sy Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Received 11.40 p.m., Aug. 14 London, Aug. 14. A return issuod, including bullion and specie in the British colonies, shows that imports for the deonde ending 1900 from the United Kingdom increased six millions ; from British possessions, 13 millions ; from foreign countries, 29 millions. Exports of the Colonies.to the United Kingdom increased millions ; to British possessions, 10 millions ; to foreign countries, 18£ millions. The imports for the year 1900 consisted of 117 millions from the United Kingdom, 45 millions from British possessions, and 81 millions from foreiga countries. The exports consisted of 108 millions to the United Kingdom, 43i millions from British possessions, and 87 millions from foreign countries.
