THE NIWARU.
SERIOUS DAMAGE. (Per Press Association.) Auckland, last night, Tho steamer Niwaru was docked tp-day and a preliminary examination held. The hull is badly dented in a number of places, and there is a large hole on the starboard side. The rudder is somewhat bent, but the stern post and aperture is all right. About 32 plates on Doth sides are injured. 1
