HAWKE’S BAY HUNT CLUB’S MEETING. I By Telegraph.—Press Association. | Napier, last night. ! The Hawke’s Bay Hunt Club Annual Steeplechase Meeting was held to-day. There was a large attendance. No totalsator was used. Results : Hunters’ Bracelet Hurdle Race.—Pharos 1, The Gun 2, Bushwhacker 3. Won by 15 lengths. First Open Flat Race.—Ballyneety 1, Taniwha 2, Minerve 3. Ballyneety won comfortably. Hunt Club Steeplechase.—Gun Metal 1, Hokowhitu 2, Draga 3. Open Steeplechase. Cronje 1, St. Lemon 2. Won easily. Hunters’ Fiat Race.—Pharos 1, Gun Metal 2, Hinewai 3. Won easily. Second Open Flat Race. —Merry Kate 1, Taniwha 2, Inspan 3. Won comfortably. Hunters’ Final Steeplechase.—Counterbine 1, Bushwhacker 2, The Gun 3.
