BEATRICE VARTHA CONCERT CO.
The representative of the Beatrice Vartha Concert Company, who has recently returned from America after a long tour with the famous Bessie Doyle Concert Company, visiting New Zenland on two occasions, has arrived in town to make arrangements for a concert to be given by the brilliant and talented young pianovirtuoso, Miss Beatrice Yartha, is makiDg a farewell tour of New Zealand, prior to leaving for America at sd early date. The company have been touring in the South, where they were accorded great receptions, being highly spoken of by press and public. The company includes several well-known artists, and arrangements are being negotiated for the appearanpe here of New Zealand’s favorite contralto, Miss H. Lorraine Tansley, whose singing has caused so much favorable comment during her recent tour through South Africa. The box plan will be opened in a few days,
