£Per Press Association.} Wanganui, last night. At a largely attended meeting convened by the Chamber of Commerce to-night, the deputation which recently interviewed Mr Seddon re the Wanganui-Raetihi road presented their report. The Premier’s reply was warmly criticised, and the following resolution was carried unanimously : —“ That this meeting feels great disappointment at the result of the application to the Government in regard to the Wanganui-Raetihi road, and urges the member for the district to again bring the matter before Government, and press it with all his powers, and that he ask tha Government to place not less than £6OOO on the estimates for that purpose."
