RAILWAY ACCIDENT.
A PLATELAYER KILLED. By Telegraph—Press Association. Timaru, last night. John Meager, platelayer, was accidentally kffiod by the Dunedin to Christchurch express near Studholme yesterday. He had got out of the way of the train, and moving, slipped and fell upon the line. He was struck by the cowcatcher and killed instantaneously.
