COURT OF APPEAL.

By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, last night. Tho Appeal Court has beforo it again this morning a case involving the ownership of a 2ft strip of street, which had been included in the purchase many years ago and a title given. The point was whether protection given to a bona fide purchaser by the Land Transfer Act of 1885 is overridden by the amending Act of 1889, and whether the latter can be made retrospective. Judgment was reserved. The Court-adjourned to Monday, but without intimating whether further judgments will then be given.
