MOTOR CAR SCORCHER. ESCAPES ON A TECHNICALITY. (Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, last nightj The driver of - a motor car was charged at the Magistrate’s Court this morning with furiously driving a car across Cathedral Square on W as dO miles an hour. The information was dismissed, on the ground that it should have been jaid under the Motor Car Act, 19(L, instead of the Police Offences Act.
