The Pope has greatly, wasted, and the only sign of life is in his eyes, which are always bright. LONDON, July 14.
. A Reuter despatch says that tho Pope had several attacks of vomiting during the night. All hope of improvement has been abandoned.
The latest bulletin states that a change has placed him in a critical condition. The pulse is feeble. Received 1.20 a.m., July 16. ROME, July 15. The Pope sat. in an armchair in the afternoon, and conversed .with .visitors quite lucidly. The evening bulletin states that he spent a fairly quiet day, with shorter periods of depression. I-lis strength is decreasing slowly, but continuously.
