By; .Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright,! ROME, July 13. The Pope passed a tranquil night, but later became feeble and depressed. Received 10.21 p.m., July 14. ROME, July 14. The evening bulletin states that the decrease of strength continues ; the pulse is feeble and the condition J serious, but there is no immediate danger. Reuter states that there is meat, uneasiness at the Vatican, due to the almost entire failure of the renal functions ; the patient is now becoming rapidly weaker and breathing more difficult. He conversed with the Cardinals during the evening with great difficulty, articulating monosyllables. The patient’s memory is less clear. There are rumors that he is suffering from carcinomia liver. He made a slight rally late in the evening, and conversed with Cardinal Satolli lucidly regarding the Biblical Committee. The Pope had a further relapse at and his demise is feared before dawn.
