A GREAT SCHEME.
By Telegraph-Press AssociationCopyright. SYDNEY, July 10. The Broken Hill Mine-owners’ Association estimates that it will require one million gallons weekly additional to the Proprietary supply, and domestic requirements, to enable the mines to carry on. It suggests that half could be obtained by the erection of a condensing plant, and the rest brought in by train.- Mr O’Sullivan promised that the Government would give consideration to the scheme.
