NEW ZEALAND WHEELMEN

At a mooting of the Council of the League of New Zealand Wheelmen tonight, the Fedoral Cycling Council of Australia notified the League that it would recognise New Zealand riders competing in Australia, providing its action were reciprocated by New Zealand Council. It was decided to recognise Australian riders competing in New Zealand. The Palmerston North Cycling and Athletic Club was affiliated. It was decided to call upon a certain amateur to produce trophies according to the rules. It was decided to suggest to the two clubs in Palmerston North to combine to» form a centre for the Manawatu district. Notice of motion was given that the League assume control of auto-mobile racing.
