The Hon Hr Cadnian arrived by the Whak,italic from England, after an absence of fourteen moiling. lli- eirniHl was the establishment of the ironsaud industily lor the West Coast and raiapam, which lie found well favored by British investors. An engineer is being sent out, on whose report the fate of the industry will depend. It is proposed to erect works at Pa ran nr a and New Plymouth. Mr Cadman anticipates that one thousand workmen would be employed.
