There was an averuge yarding of stock, and a good attendance of buyers to-day at Addington. Fat cattio : 159 wero entered, including a few useful steers, hut a large proportion of light beef pens wero disposed of readily at about last week’s prices. F at lumbs: 1500 wero yarded, and all pens containing prime quality evoked brisk bidding among buyers for export, who took tho bulk of the entry at prices about Is por head in advance of those ruling last week. Lambs only half fat were hard to quit. Tegs brought 17s 3d to 21s (id, extra prime 31s, freezers 13s to 17s, butchers' 12s 3d to 17s fid. Fat sheep : There was a large entry, comprising numerous lines of particularly prime wethers and young ewes. These .were eagerly competed tor by freezing buyers at piices fully Is per bead above those ruling last week. For lighter wethers and medium quality ewes tho market was firm ut last week’s prices. L’rimu freezing wethers brought IBs to 2‘is 3d, lighter weights 15s lOd to 17s fid, merino wethors for freezing lbs 3d to 20s, lighter 14s 7d, prime young ewes lbs to 225, freezing 13s to lbs 9d, butchers’ 15s to 17s 6d, others 11s to 14s 6d, wethers and ewes lbs Id to 21s. Pigs : There was only a moderate yarding of fat pigs, and the presence of outside buyers madu tho market firm for baconers, which sold from 46s to 635, equal to 4-:jd to 5d per lb ; porkers realised from 26s to 39s 6d, equal to 5d por lb.
