FREEZING COMPANIES
PROPOSED NEW COMPANY IN HAWKE’S BAY.

Napier, last night
A meeting of the provisional directors of the proposed new freezing company was held at Hastings to-day. It was reported that sufficient promises of shares had been received to enaute Ihe company to be formed, hut the liual decision ou the question of forming a new company was left over for a future meeting, enquiries to be made in the meantime as to the terms upon which the present companies would freeze sheep for clients. Auckland, last night.
The B. and W. Hellaby Company, limited, have acquired the business hitherto conducted by the Auckland Freezing Company, together with works on the railway reclamation. The business, generally speaking, will be conducted on much the same lines as formerly, with the exception that extra opportunities will be afforded to farmers and graziers to send their stock Home.
