(Per Press Association.) Auckland, last night.

Tho Sacred Heart College, oreoted by the Marist Brothers, at a cost of £6OOO, was blessed by Bishop Lonihan on Sunday morning, after which tho Bishop celebrated tho first mass in tho College. In the afternoon the formal opening took place in the prescuco of a largo gathering. Tho Mayor (Hon. E. Mitcholson) presided. A collection to defray tho cost of furnishing totalled £231.
