At tha Homebush sales there was spirited competition, and value improved. The catalogue included some nice quality sheep from Victoria and a consignment of New Zealand. Best crossbred wethers brought 20s to 28s 6d, good 17s to 18s ; ewes, best 18s 6d to 21s 9d, good 16s to 17s. Cattle were in full supply, and prices were lower. Best bullocks brought £lO 15s to £ll, good £9 10s, best cows £7 ss, good £6. Received 1.12 a.m., June 19. Two hundred and eighty-one New Zealand sheep sold realised from 183 3d to 23s 6d ; best beef 28s.|
