By Telegraph—Press Association.
Dunedin, last night,
The Trades and Labor Council passed a resolution that they did not agree with the utterances of the Premier to do away with elective licensing committees, as these are elected by a democratic vote to voice the opinion of the people. To do away with them would therefore be a blow at the democratic principles which the Council so strenuously advocated.
