REPORTED BURSTING DENIED,

Wellington, last night. Exception has boon tuken by the agents for tho newly-iutroducod korosone stoves to the statement that fires havo been caused by their bursting. In a recent case at Nolson it isolated tho stove did not burst, but was upset, and in tho firo at the Union Company’s offices hero yesterday it was at first put down to an explosion. It hus now been ascertained that it did not explode, but was probably overhouted in the absence of anyone in the building,
