DEATH OF MR ROBERTS

£Per Press Association), DUNEDIN, last, night, .Mr George Roberts, President of tiie Otago A. and P. Society, and son of Mr John Roberts, 0.M.G., died this evening as the result of complications following an operation for appendicitis. YOUNG SCAMPS. Three boys who ran away from the Industrial School gave themselves up to the police to-night. The police, having heard that a house at Brighton had been entered and ill) taken, ihe boys were searched and money found on them. They at first denied, but later on admitted being the culprits. SUDDEN DEATH. James Johnson, of Eiccarton, Taieri. was found dead on the road yestenlay, near bis home.
