GISBORNE BOROUGH COUNCIL SPECIAL ORDER MAKING BY-LAW REGULATING HEAVY TRAFFIC.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Gisborne Borough Council will hold a Meeting at the Council Chambers, Lowe Street, Gisborne, on TUESDAY the 9th day of June, 1903, at 7.30 p.in., for the purpose of confirming the following Resolution, which was passed at a Special Meeting held on the 12th day of May, 1903: 1. During the months of May, June, July, August, and Septemher, in every year, all heavy traffic (as defined by the Public Work 3 Act, 1891) of any kind shall cease upon the Haiti Esplanade Road, abutting the Turangnnui River. 2. Every person who shall use such itoaa during the aforesaid months for. heavy traffic, as above dtliood, shall be liable to a penalty not exceeding the sum of £5 on every occasion on which the same shall be so used.
